Who makes it to the PowerList Africa?
The Young African Leaders Achievers List also known as the PowerList Africa celebrates Young African Achievers who are changing societies, communities, their countries with their initiatives, ideas, talents and/or leadership. These are young people whose achievement and leadership are an exemplary. This is purposed to recognise and celebrate young achievers especially young politicians and female leaders who are shaping our continent for growth and to serve as a source of inspiration to the teeming youth who aspire to be like these young achievers.

This will afford the youth the opportunity to learn about the success stories of these young leaders and serve as a major boost in recognising young females who are also shaping our societies and to encourage women to aspire for greatness.
This year 2022, we seek to compile a list for the Young African Achievers who have excelled in their area of specialty or talent, and we want to give you the opportunity to nominate. Each nominee will undergo scrutiny by YGL Network selection committee and nominees who makes it to the list will be again subjected to voting for winners in each category.
WINNERS FROM EACH LIST WILL BE PRESENTED WITH AN AWARD AT OUR SUMMIT
Some outstanding young achievers (Winners) will be honoured at the Young African Leaders Summit 2022. Young Leaders who make it to the list will be presented with Certificates. The awards ceremony will be used to acknowledge, encourage, and celebrate the success and vitality of these astute change makers by giving them the opportunity to gain valuable exposure and well-deserved recognition for their national and global ambitions and excellence.

ELIGIBILITY
- Nominee must be between 16 and 45 years
- Nominee must have distinguished themselves and made an impact on young people especially in the area they are being nominated for
- Nominees exemplary leadership must effect or have effected positive change
- Nominee must be an African
- After nominations deadline, nominees from the below categories will be shortlisted for public voting.
